Housedeath

The Elvish Watch outpost previously known as the Sentry was once a place of imperial power - one part prison and one part spy station. The imperials would keep an eye on the traffic within Vanreth from this posting, and send out detatchments to stop suspected crimes or rebellion. For centuries the Sentry was seen as a malicous place of tyrany, its dungeons and walls were feared and hated. During the rebellion and the empires death, the Sentry would be sacked by the young house Sunbrace, helping to spark a rebellion throughout the rest of Vanreth.    For over 400 years the Sentry sat as ruins with little more history. Some minor events, small monster hunts, and a few various adventures took place  - but none of major note until 435 when House Skullbrook attempted something extremely risky. The disarmament of the houses. When they failed to convince the major houses to disarm, and then promptly were removed from the throne, Skullbrook would find themselves without walls that would accept them. For half a year they were chased throughout Vanreth by their old rivals, House Sunbrace, and the various allies they had accumulated. Finally, Skullbrook would attempt to cross over into Requiem in hopes of starting fresh. But at the Sentry they would be attacked and laid waste to by Sunbrace. After this event, the Sentry would be renamed to Housedeath - to serve as a reminder to all Paramounts to learn from Skullbrooks mistake.
