Sandmouth

Somewhere in the dunes to the south east of Requiem is a door. A massive sandstone door nestled in a hidden away canyon. Statues of ancient gods flank it, and desert natives speak tales of powerful magic that seeps from the cracks. Those who have journied into the Sandmouth, speak of powerful magic and an ancient gateway that leads out of the material plane. 
The Sandmouth is something of an enigma, and is very hard to pin down. Sandstorms seem to rage when approaching. Monsterous desert creatures prowl the territory around the Sandmouth. Many academics have attempted to study the sandmouth, and very few have ever returned from their expiditions.
