Tiefling
Tieflings are individuals born with the blood of lower plane creatures within them. Devils or demons in particular. Tieflings are not always descended from these creatures, and instead could be the result of a pact made by ancestors. Tieflings had been looked at with disdain by many cultures for years on end, but with the increase in planar activity due to the rise of magic, many cultures hold less prejudice to them.

Civilization and Culture
Naming Traditions
Tiefling names are often taken from their parent races, however some may chose something more fitting as they age such as tradditional names from their planes origin, or a virtue name.
History
Tiefling have no true world history, but do hold a place in cultural history. Though few and far between during Imperial times, those born Tieflings during the time of the Pale Elves had hard lives. Often they were exiled, or killed on the spot by all cultural groups. This would continue after the fall of the empire for years, with Tiefling hanging being less common but exile becoming more common.
Only as magical invention began to rise in the 400s, and places like Requiem see more planar visitors, did Tieflings start to gain a footing in society. This doesn't hold true everywhere. Vanreths Radiant Citadel church still dislikes Tieflings, making Anchorpoint a hard place to live for one. While Requiems cities are fine, their outskirts and small towns often have larger religious groups and fundamentalists, leading to more prejudice. Ilmora doesn't mind extra planar bloody lines at all, while the Hastlands is often neutral on the subject.
Lifespan
The average life span of their parent race +20 years.
