Aramoor (Aa-ra-moor-eh)

Aramoor - The Silent Township.

  Population: 6,110 (80% Humans, 7% Halflings, 13% Other races)
Government: The town is overseen by a set of powerful mages known as the Fallenshapers; creating a bureaucracy of sorts.
Defense: A strong force of dedicated soldiers and paid militia keep the peace, their numbers stand between 800-1,000 at a time.
Commerce: Common supplies and general businesses can be found, however most are more essential needs and formulated to accomodate for the regions curse. Most exotic goods and purchases are made in quieter locations, but are often avaliable.
  Organisations: Temples and shrines across the pantheon are present, but Mystra's influence makes hers stand-out.

resilient Township.

    Aramoore fell victim to the curse of The Hush that sweeps the Soundless Depths. Despite this the town remained in it's original place and the people overcame what was a harsh punishment for the Fallenshaper's doing. It's buildings and blocks tended to host a rough-cut stone foundation, dense wood from the Astois Plateau, and shingled rooves. Leading some to remark on it's neat and orderly construction, despite it's harsh circumstances.   The township hosted one large exterior residential block, colloquially called the Plaid Circle in the East, and the Western Merk Market and Doonnil Boulevard captured the rest of the living-space. It boasted expansive farm-land and livestock, wells and   The town also hosted well-patrolled exterior walls, and a large keep for the soldiers and militia. The keep was named Aedon's Keep.   The town also hosted a large boon, that being the addition of Silence Orbs which were static variants of Silence Stones folks made sure that their streets and important meeting places could surpass the silence curse. Stores, inns and important political buildings tended to have a Silence Orb to ensure safety and open dialouge could be had. You may also find cross-roads and path-sections that meet to host a solid cast-iron holders and orbs to allow merchants to communicate safely.
