Skyships and Lannirock Reef
The gnomes most proud and arugably their most innovative design is that of the Skyship or locally known as the Wings of Moldermouth. A single vessel requires a fairly large crew, and their designs vary from ship-to-ship, each one being created for specific purposes. The ships are ran on a combonation of two things:
Cloud Buoys
Cloud buoys are a set of ancient stone cores, etched with runes and symbols with ciphoned Arcana to create a thrusting force to propel a Skyship. They are labelled as 'aeroliths' by archeologists and non-locals, and are extremely complex and diverse in their creation. A large cloud-buoy can take months to create, where-as smaller vessels may only require afew weeks to produce. Maintance on these Buoy's are regular and organised to keep Skyships aloft.

Fernite
Fernite is the raw resource utilised in propulsion and required for the more advanced engines of Skyships that do not just rely on wind and Cloud Buoys. Fernite is a form of refined coal, gathered around locally from Lannirock Reef and rarely the Obsidan Vortex. Infused Fernite is an extreme rarity between the locals of Moldermouth paid for handsomely if discovered or infused. It's natural locations are scattered and diverse.
Weapons of Skyships
When creativity and innovation takes to the skies, so does the means of weaponising Skyships. The current list of usable weapons seen from atop a Skyship is:- Balistas

- Trebuchets
