Tel'Shesh Ath Alura

Tel'Shesh Ath Alura stands as the last remaining bastion of an ancient civilization. Millennia ago, the residents of the nation which thrived around this scientific hub disappeared, leaving behind nothing except the towering Ziggurat, its surrounding pyramids, and the Cloven Hollow - a huge scar in the landscape created by some unknown calamity. 
The central compound, now referred to as the Zigga Ziggurat, largely stays untouched as it is surrounded by a storm that causes magical effects to go haywire. Due to the varying dangers  of bnoth the Cloven Hollow and the Sandsea that surrounds the compound, it is general thought unwise to travel to the Ziggurat without the aid of magic, and so people rarely risk the endeavour.
Over the centuries, those brave enough to make the journey have looted the tomb of most of its contents. The city of Respite keeps a map of the area, although this was recently lost in an unknown incident and had to be replaced. A brave cartographer was dispatched and created new maps for the city.
It is believed that the ziggurat was used as a focus for magical energies as it exists on a planar nexus. The exact nature of the magical experiments that took place here is unknown, however it is theorised that it lead to the downfall of the civilization.
Based on the statues that have survived, the residents of this city were an early iteration of Elves. It is possible that this city is the origin point of the diasporic groups of Drow that migrated and now exist both across and below Overland.
