Dragonborn
The descendants of dragons as their name proclaims, walking through the world striking either fear or admiration into the hearts of men. Standing 6 and nearly 7 feet tall, with thick scales covering their bodies, tails gently and broadly built, the dragonborn share many features with their draconic ancestors, though they lack wings. The dragonborn are a pious people, previously in the faith of the seven scales, but since they found themselves abandoned by their gods, they have since taken up the faith of the divine seraphs within Nathar.
Graceful Warlords
Dragonborn spend their time on two things, maintaining a perfect body and war. Their ideal of a perfect body is both in beauty standards making many dragonborn dress themselves in fine clothes and jewelry, but it is also physical capability, making most dragonborn great warriors. Partners are chosen based on their physical capabilities, with love being an added bonus. When not preparing their bodies dragonborn fight, their large bodies and scales lend themselves to great shock troupers, running into the frontlines of the enemies and tearing it apart with weapons and elemental breath weapons. Their beauty ideals and talent for war has lead to a great deal of "pride" or rather arrogance towards others they see as "lesser" only responding respectfully to those who've proven themselves capable.
Like so many other races that came to Aethar the dragonborn were hunted down by humans, though they were one of the last targets of The Great Purge, giving them ample time to try and construct a new home for themselves naming it Cinder's Cradle. Though they stood no real chance against the humans and their great city was left as a ruin of its former glory. The dragonborn who survived had no choice other than to wander the dunes of Nathar in search of a new purpose. All while praying to their gods to grant them the power to restore their former glory, and when their prayers went unanswered they turned their backs on their religion. But the dragonborn ever a pious people needed something to believe in, and after wandering for almost a century human missionaries introduced them to the divine seraphs, the dragonborn desperate for a purpose quickly adapted themselves and became part of the religion, maybe becoming some of the most feverous speakers. As a reward for their loyalty they were given back the land where Cinders Cradle once had stood, overjoyed the dragonborn quickly began rebuilding themselves causing many other dragonborn to make the pilgrimage back to their once great city. In recent times dragonborn have found themselves parts of the Arcanist Inquisition or as missionaries spreading the holy words of the divine seraphs, to other lands beyond their desert homeplace. They are one of few unnatural races that have earned the respect of humans, for their willingness to cooperate with them, though they are still looked upon with fear and mistrust in placed beyond their homes of Nathar.
