Session XIII: Eye of The Storm Report

General Summary

The charcters in the middle of a fierce battle with a creature who came to be known as "Barth" along with a cult of Lilthzerai. Barely scraping by the battle was finished when an elvish person known as "The Stranger" came in to claim what was his. He required that the group hand over their magical fiddle with all he wanted from the group was for them to watch "his show", which they would know was happening when it did.
After getting a moment of respite they explored the rest of the lair finding a laboratory along with a cave with mushrooms. While searching through the cave Kaiira received a vision of the temple to Saphiel burning while the stranger burst out in manic laughter on top of it.
Though wounded the group knew that they had not yet fought off all of the monsters they had promised to exterminate. Pressing on they found the chamber where these creatures were assembled as well as the holding cells of the half-elvish prisoners. Saving the prisoners and proving to the Beggars that they had successfully upheld their part of the deal, the characters made it back to the surface.
After getting a proper rest and bath the characters met with the Sherif who interrogated them about various rumors that had been spreading around town, and after a brief discussion got paid and asked to come up with a group name, which ended up being The Fated Company.
Finally going to their heist on the sanatorium after a few days about town The Fated Company began going through the catacombs leading to the sanatorium. Throughout their trip an amalgamation of spirits known as "The Mother" began to haunt and chase them. Making it into her lair Kaiira and Dizzy along with a crying Oswald managed to convince her to give up peacefully clearing the way to the sanatorium.

Rewards Granted

The characters receive the following

• 5.250 xp for the fight in the sewers
• 300 xp for receiving the vision and gaining information on the mushrooms
• 500 xp for saving the prisoners
• 750 xp for completing the skill challange
• 2000 xp for dealing with The Mother

In total 1760 xp for each character
