Aethlaxis is a medium sized planet much like earth, though magic is found all throughout, it's far less than on some newer worlds. Technology is at the medieval level with a few exceptions, monsters and humans both have societies and are nearly at war. Your group is aiming to ease tensions by keeping the strict laws of the pact
