Alchemists Workshop
Purpose / Function
The alchemist workshops serve the dual purpose, as do most of the buildings in the expedition campsite, of teaching students and conducting research. The many craftsmen and alchemists of the Albeos university of magic and technology ply their trade here and have set up shop. Their extensive laboratories and production capacity allow them to produce nearly all alchemical items. Healing potions are in short supply as the required ingredients are hard to come by.
Architecture
The basement of the small tower is filled with a large scale alchemist workshop, having surpassed the point where it could have been called a laboratory and instead has moved into the scale of industrial production. Large reactor vats and pipeworks crisscross the massive cavernous vaulted room, and people in protective clothing tend to the copper and glass intestines of the tower.
