Kho'le River
This is one of the four main rivers that make up the moshabar delta, it originates from the mountain ranges that separates the nation states of sha'geah from the rest of the known worlds. This river is often quite unpredictable and has a strong quickly changing current. The large amounts of sand it carries with it are deposited and change the flow of the river constantly.
Geography
The river has its origins in the desert cities in sha'geah, starting on the other side of the mountain range that seperate the sha'geah region from the rest of the known world. This river is unpredictable and is likely to shift. Many of the islands in the river appear to be recently formed and shifting at best. It is probably quite hard to navigate, and almost useless as a navigational landmark.
Fauna & Flora
The sands carried by the river is sharp edged and not worn down by a constant flow of water. Its not a sharp as the sands found deep in the desert. The river is the ideal habitat for crabs and other animals with an exoskelleton. The waters from the kho'le river should be safe for consumption, but are very rich in chalk and other minerals. For a river the water is quite salty, but not so much as to render it undrinkable. The somewhat brakish watters have resulted in a wide variety of sea dwelling creatures that have adapted to living in the Kho'le river
