Somnium (Som-Ni-Um)
God of Dreams, Ideas and Hope
As time marched on, Vita grew hopeless, thinking that the world she created was a waste. But soon there came a boy, no older than ten. Through his tears and pain, he held onto hope. He told Vita not to lose the hope she once had for the world. That one day she would see her world complete as long as she believed.
Vita looked into the heart of this young boy and granted him the status of God, granting his wish to help the world. Somnium brought about hope and a reason to dream and live.
The god of dreams is one of the more favourable gods in Aether. Said to be the first mortal to be granted the status of deity, it is well known he is the first of the lesser gods. It is said that the great city Somnia in Be-Lia is named after him, for being the true being of peace and prosperity.

Divine Symbols & Sigils
The symbol of Somnium is a swirling cloud with stars surrounding it. The stars are meant to symbolise dreams and the cloud peace and hope. For there is always a silver lining to every situation, so all hope is not lost. The patron and herald of Somnium is the pegasus. A being of purity that brings hope to those it meets, being free to fly wherever it wishes. These heralds are seen as a symbol of prosperity often associated with Somnium.
Tenets of Faith
The followers of Somnium are said to be the kindest people around. Followers are also often seen as devout peace keepers, having taken oaths to never harm another soul. Although not entirely true, Somnium worshippers are seen as the opposite of Crucia worshippers, in faith and morals.
