Drakazar

Long ago, in the shadows of a time nearly forgotten, there existed a realm of darkness known as the Nether Abyss. It was a place where malevolent spirits and twisted creatures roamed, a land ruled by chaos and fear. From this realm emerged a being of immense power and wickedness, a demon lord named Drakazar. His very essence was a manifestation of the darkness, and his thirst for power and control knew no bounds. Drakazar was not always a demon lord. In the beginning, he was a mortal sorcerer, ambitious and cunning, seeking to unlock the secrets of the arcane. He delved into forbidden knowledge, and in his quest for power, he made a pact with the ancient entities that ruled the Nether Abyss. They bestowed upon him unimaginable strength and immortality, but at a terrible cost: his humanity was consumed by darkness, transforming him into a monstrous demon lord.
Now possessed of vast demonic powers, Drakazar's influence began to spread like a malignant shadow, corrupting the lands around him. He sought to extend his dominion over the world, leaving despair and devastation in his wake. Yet, for all his newfound might, Drakazar knew that his power was not absolute, and he sought a weapon that could make him invincible.
It was then that Drakazar commissioned the creation of Soulreaver, a sword forged from the darkest and most powerful materials in existence. He bound the essence of his own soul into the blade, as well as the souls of countless others he had sacrificed in his quest for power. The result was a weapon of unimaginable might, capable of striking down even the mightiest of foes with a single, devastating blow. However, the sword was cursed, for every soul it devoured only served to deepen its insatiable hunger for more.
For centuries, Drakazar waged war upon the world, his demonic armies fueled by the power of Soulreaver. Yet, in his arrogance, he failed to foresee his own downfall. A coalition of heroes and warriors from across the realm rose up to confront the demon lord at Battle of Greystone , determined to vanquish the darkness that threatened to engulf their world. They fought valiantly, but were felled to the last warrior, who finally triumphed. This great warrior's name was Lord Greystone.
In that last battle, one that shook the very foundations of the earth, Drakazar finally met his end. His power shattered by the might of the hero who opposed him, who found himself wielding the sword, Soulreaver, in an epic twist of fate. The demon lord's soul was sundered, its fragments scattered throughout the realm, each one imbued with a fraction of his once-great power. As for Soulreaver, the cursed sword was lost, hidden away in the hopes that its dark power would never again threaten the world.
Little did anyone know that Drakazar's legacy would live on, his soul shards continuing to spread darkness and despair wherever they went. And, as fate would have it, one such shard would find its way into the hands of an unsuspecting elven ranger named Veradis, setting in motion a chain of events that would change the course of history forever.
