Fargrim Emberfist

Name: Fargrim Emberfist   Race: Dwarf (Fayborne)   Title: Dreadstalker   Background: Fargrim hails from the renowned Emberfist Dwarf clan, who are famed for their mastery over fire and metal and are the builders of the legendary fortress, Greystone. He was a master blacksmith before he became a Dreadstalker, and he still carries his old smithing hammer. Which he needs in order to craft the parts of the cursed weapon he carries into the one that will become known as Flamespeaker.   Appearance: Fargrim is a stout and sturdy dwarf with ruddy skin, hardened by the heat of the forge. His eyes are as sharp and sparkling as newly-mined fire gems, and his pointy beard is a fiery red. He sports 2 fiery red braids, intricately adorned with talismans of his trade. He wears thick, robust armor of his own creation, a masterpiece of craftsmanship and durability, etched with runes of protection, and usually cradles a sturdy Dwarf sized glaive as his choice weapon.   Personality: Fargrim is a hardy and resilient dwarf with a heart as fiery as the forge he works. He carries a deep love for his craft and a strong loyalty to his friends. He can be stubborn, sometimes to a fault, and is never one to back down from a challenge. He is also known for his boisterous laughter and love for a good brew.   Dreadstalker Curse: Fargrim's curse requires him to defeat a monumental foe to lift it. The very Flamespeaker he crafted the many parts to, is tied to his fate. To break his curse, he must forge Flamespeaker with the blood of a Muspeljötunn, a creature born of the very flames he has always revered. He must draw forth its blood and soulspark, and then forge Flamespeaker in the Emberfist Forge at Greystone. All while he is constantly being drained of energy by the cursed soul shard tied to him.   Speech: Fargrim speaks with the gruff, warm-hearted tone typical of Dwarves. He often uses mining and smithing metaphors in his speech. He might say something like, "By me ancestors' hammers! What have we got ourselves into this time, eh?" or "This one's tough, but not as tough as tryin' ta hammer Mithril without heatin' it up first! We'll crack it yet lads, just you wait and see!" or, "I can nae find meh brew!"
