Xian (Zay-yin)
What is a Xian? A recruit begins his new life as a learner of the ways of immortal beings. He or she is taken to many worlds to learn from those beings that have existed for many cycles. Once he passes his phase of learning, he is taken to the great golden dragon to be tested. The dragon will give the tests to each new knight as he sees the need. After completing the great golden dragon's requests, and in so doing brings back the memory of the trials to the dragon, he becomes a knight of the order, and is granted immortality. He is then bade go through the ritual of light, and he will be filled by the power of the light. A division of the Xian knights will come to claim him as their own. He will then go through the knightly trials to earn his or her wings. The most famous and aspired to divisions is the White Raven, their symbol a white raven in flight, and what looks like a Z. The Z symbolizes the Xian knights brotherhood, and the great sacrifices they made to be what they have become, vanguards of light.
White Raven: A White Raven is feared on the battlefield. They are the Xian knights "special forces" a chosen member will be trained rigorously, and will generally earn their wings more quickly than the other divisions. But once they have done so, the real training begins. If you ever face a White Raven on the battlefield, you better sobbingly repent of your evil ways, for they will never kill one with a pure heart. The Xian knights will fight fervently to bring the power of the light even if they are forced to relinquish their firm hold on their physical bodies to do so. But darkness will never hold them for long, as they will be reborn from an Aetheric Egg hatchery in a tower in Caer Carreg'Lwyd.
