Beljuril - Fireflash

These are gemstones that are highly prized, usually found in ancient rock formations of blue claystone. Deep-seawater green colour, smooth surface, sized of a human fist i.e. 3-5 inches (8-13cm) in diameter, not cylindrical. Hard to abrade or cut – worn for adornment, usually worn uncut or split into halves, mounted in claw settings for pectorals or epaulets. Decorative lighting, warning beacons, nightlights for extremely wealthy – each is usually worth 5000gp. Once every hour, the Beljuril absorbed undetectable amounts of energy (heat, light and vibratory) from within a 30ft radius and emit that energy as a flash of light without heat or sound but with few mild sparks of electrical discharge.
