Harkartagan

The central hub of the Bronzimm Concord within its land territories, a city built from the earthmounds raised besides the central lake, connected by several tributary rivers that give access to the different regions of Dredjericho, and the major trade road of the Legion Roads. Once a broken lakeside ruin, Harkartagen was the centre of Hobgoblin control during the first centuries of the current Era reborn. A villified and haunting memory to the Goblins, but stands as a memorial to what once was, to what the Bronzimm Concord has become. Harkar-Tagan, or the Fortress of Harkar, the Warlord of Aethallasar - ruled with an iron grip, and with the blessings of Bane himself. Constructing a walled central keep connecting to the ringed earthmound rise that hung as a raised mesa-island in the central lake, connected by two separate mechanised bridges (which would rotate on axis by lever action to separate the bridges apart) that led to the central city proper - once filled with prisons, Worg breeding dens, military outfits, factories and smelteries to supply their armies and underground grain stores to support in sieges - with blackened walls growing with spiked vines and the deadly Pain Trees that could cause any stung by its many prickly needles to suffer torturous spasms of pain for months without reprieve. Often most would be made an example of by being impaled upon its walls to suffer endlessly, their heads left mounted upon the walls, or thrown into pits of vipers. From these blackened walls and buildings, the reign of the Warlord and his council brought an iron fist down upon their smaller goblin cousins. It was here that Bane's Black Hand was seen to remind the smaller goblins who was their ruler. But after the Three Great Revolutions, Harkar-Tagan was destroyed and rebuilt several times over hundreds of years - all idols of worship to their oppressive god, Bane, were destroyed and replaced by idols of their own worship - of the great Dinosaurs and ancestors that heroically freed their people and allowed them to prosper together. Only after a few centuries did the Carpe's truly invest towards rebuilding Harkartagan into a new and wonderous commerical and military fortification, centralising trade within the centre of the subcontinent, as a nexus to the other regions. Expanding across the lakeside, acting as a great hub of commerce for river-travelling merchants and roadside caravans; allowing the procurement of talents from across the realm. It acts as the centre of law provided by the Bronzebraves, and ruled by a united contingent of the different Carpe's: the Skypelts of Carpe Tortollan, Carpe Roke, Carpe Maris and Carpe Som. No one ruler will have total power over the region ever again. From this region, the bronze trade flourished in this region due to its nearby mines and quarries. Harkartagan has now becomeĀ a sub-jungle region home to beasts and to a great bazaar of traders, beast-tamers, farmers and craftsmen - said to have the purest bronze in the world, and one of the most peaceful trading regions in the world.
