Shadestone Steelworks

Shadestone Steelworks is the Machinist's Guild of Esta Troia, renowned throughout the Realm of Alagend as master engineers. They have invented many machines which are used across the realm, including airships, drake-claw cannons, and ballistae. With their latest creation - the Shadestone Rail-Cart - the Shadestone Steelworks seeks to connect eastern and western Esta Troia, and with its hopeful success, eventually the Realm.

History

Founded by Godmund Shadestone in 323 3AE, the Shadestone Steelworks first gained its power and prestige with the invention of the firesand musket, which was used in the early rise and consolidation of the Kingdom of Esta Troia in the late 3rd Astral Era.
Gaining greater prestige over the years with the invention of the aetherotransformer -a device which converts the wearer's innate mana into the lightning-aspected energy suited for powering the machinists' revolutionary inventions - and the gunblade, the Shadestone Steelworks became an important pillar of Esta Troian society, alongside the Stonecarver Guild. Together the organizations built Esta Troia's military strength, resilience, and economic prosperity.
Currently, the Shadestone Steelworks is led by Master Engineer Aidan Shadestone. Stationed in the eastern Troian town of Mobliz, overseeing the construction of the Shadestone Railway.
