Hrimthursar, sometimes called frost giants, are a type of Helvaettr. They are descended from Ymir.

Basic Information

Anatomy

A hrimthurs is a very large humanoid. Hrimthursar have a minor connection to Magic, granting them two abilities: immunity to cold, and the ability to breathe an incredibly cold vapor, capable of freezing water almost immediately on contact. The range of this is roughly seven feet.

Genetics and Reproduction

Hrimthursar reproduce sexually and are viviparous. Their gestation period is thirteen months.

Ecology and Habitats

Hrimthursar do best in cold environments, such as Hel. Because of their cold immunity, they can even live in the southernmost area of Hel with relative ease.

Hrimthursar are omnivorous, and are somewhat adaptable.
