Tatzel

Tatzels are a type of Wyrm. They have a natural connection to Magic, granting them the following abilities:

• Shapeshifting - Tatzels can take a humanoid form. However, they cannot shift completely, and as such, some of their Wyrm-like features remain. Which ones remain depends on the individual; the only constant is that their eyes always have slit pupils.  
• Self-resurrection - When a tatzel dies, they can resurrect themselves, which takes fifteen seconds after the moment of death. This can be done up to nine times.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tatzels appear similar to cats, except that they are significantly larger, have scales rather than fur, and their tails are prehensile with sharp, knife-like tips. They are also venomous, able to inject a powerful venom with their bite. They can also expel this venom in a gaseous form with a range of about fifteen feet.

Genetics and Reproduction

Tatzels reproduce sexually and are viviparous. Their gestation period is one year. Tatzels are typically born in litters of three to five.

Ecology and Habitats

Tatzels generally prefer temperate climates with lots of sunlight.

Tatzels are strictly carnivorous.

Tatzels' scales can be almost any color. Rarely, they can even be iridescent.
