Veskaril is a blue wood, which glows slightly. The glow gets more intense when the veskaril is activated.

Physical & Chemical Properties

When a person puts their hand near a piece of veskaril, they can feel a very slight propulsive force emanating from it. If it comes in close proximity to a heat source this increases, with the magnitude depending on the heat. Higher temperatures mean more force. The direction of the propulsive force depends on the location of the heat source, and it is always directed away from the heat source. For instance, if a torch was placed on the left of a piece of veskaril, the veskaril would be propelled to the right. If veskaril is exposed to a heat source equally on all sides, it will not move. Exposure to very low temperatures will negate the propulsive force of the veskaril entirely.

Veskaril is found in various forests, especially the Great Forest.

Everyday use

Veskaril is very commonly used across all Aevorea, in almost every technology that benefits from propulsion.

Hazards

Because it is a type of wood, veskaril is flammable. If a piece of veskaril is ignited, it will be propelled at an extremely high velocity. Ignited veskaril often moves unpredictably and could, depending on how the fire spreads, explode.
