Hero's Harvest

This non-profit organization was founded by the Council of Hügelwald during the second emergence of the Hacking Death in the summer of 977. Members of the Council (specifically the Hügelwald Five) donated twenty platinum pieces to fund a food bank during the economic stagnation of the plague. Donations were also collected on street corners in the wealthier neighborhoods (collectors were always accompanied by a city guard), quickly requiring the small foundation to hire Helga Ermolt as the full-time director of operations. Aside from the Church's traditional (but informal) role as a provider of charitable services during turbulent times, Hero's Harvest was the first official charitable organization to be established in Valshria.
