Everyone and everything knows of Jaras guide, and if you don't you must have lived under a rock for decades. This collection of books is seen as the most essential of all, and everyone seems to either own the full collection or just the one that is relevant for their specific area of Aewyn.
Jara, and adventurer that loves to log everything she sees and learns, has since she was little written information down. This is what later turned into the guide to everything where she strives to write all important knowledge down from around Aewyn. She keeps updating and she adds new information every day. New editions keeps coming out, and some feel obligated to buy the newest ones when they come out.
Different types of guides are available, from complete botanical guides - one for each specific regions - and insect guides, star guides, weather guides, herb guides, everything you might seem helpful at some point in your life.
You can get really specific guides that only includes the small area of your town and the nearby ones, but full guides with everything from a certain topic is contained - though all the complete guide editions are extremely chunky, and not something you take with you on a walk.

This guide contains pages with illustrations and information about every known insect in a specific region of Aewyn.

Jaras botanical guide

As the title suggests, there is also a guide to flowers and plants (well, there is almost a guide for everything, and if there is something missing, it's probably underway) and describes all the common and rare plants around Aewyn. This is a very popular guide as it is extremely important to know if a plant is poisonous or not!
There are also explanations in the guide about the significance of that plant, the rarety and if they have any symbolic meaning in some cultures.
