Personal history

Having grown up on the small island of Srikai, Tiethrou has never left the island, instead liking to stay around and get to meet and know those around him. Being quite the bookworm and adept with magic, he's been known to help the Ilistrani on island-threatening matters to the degree of which he can manage to help. This help has never involved him leaving the island, however, due to his skittish nature, though he is mostly able to break through said nature when situations turn dire.
While his name is common around the island, he only ever found himself close to Hol'bez, easily seeing her as his best friend. Over the years, he'd realized he'd grown feelings for Bez, but due to her difficult circumstances he never says so, not wanting to add more to her plate. Instead, out of his care for her, he regularly drops by the house with small gifts and sweets to have passed along to Bez to let her know he's there for her.

As substantial an education as Vasteva could provide, mostly focusing on improving his magical ability.
