The First Raid

When Aezon was 14, and had just joined Hollowguard there was small raid done by an unknown group. Only some farmland was burned and some homes on the edge of town attacked. Some bandits or monsters had made it through to Tradesburrow and robbed a handful of shops, but it wasn't much of a bloodbath.

In the spring of 4255, residents of Ashridge would look into the skies and see blackened smoke rising from the fields. Most didn't know what was happening until they heard the first screams. Most fled and took shelter in their homes, some were unlucky enough to fall victim to a group of bandits and monsters running rampant in their quaint town.   The raid ended as soon as it began. Wheat fields were destroyed and some families lost a profit, there was the loss of one, maybe two lives, and a handful of storehouses and shops had goods taken. There was no serious bloodshed, and those who lost their lives lost them in a scuffle trying to stop the raiders.
