Anura
Based around a strongly rooted mercantile culture, the Anura have existed long before humans became the dominant race in the world. Ancient ruins of lost Anura civilizations can be found dotted among the swamps and lowlands of the Anuranth Glades. With most of their culture lost to Dragonborn slavery long ago, not much remains of organized Anura settlements. Most Anura are freelance merchants bringing medicinal, recreational, and cooking related herbs, flora, fauna, spices, and rare materials only found in the hostile swamplands they inhabit. Anura earn their place in society by simply never holding grudges, following laws, and not causing any trouble. Most Anura are easy to get along with, and are unique in the fact that they excel at anything requiring a likeable personality, or lack thereof, Anura are known to be “ribbiting” conversationalists, but many Anura can just as easily slip away into the background of society unnoticed. Many of their amphibious traits assist them in the gathering of their wares, traveling along the Anuranth Glades, exploration of precious metal deposits, or even spelunking of ancient ruins most normal individuals could never hope of tapping into.
The Anuran race is held together loosely by tribes and villages, with many preferring to travel outside the Anuranth Glades in search of more comfortable living conditions, or to bring back vital resources unavailable to their nomadic tribes.
An Anura players place of origin is usually Krol'Zurahd, or Grand Soren
