Half-Orc

Half-Orcs have an esoteric culture comprised of small tribes and communities throughout Afarand. These tribes of half orcs commonly form within the swamps, fjords, and wastelands of the Krol'Zurahd, though it would be naive to say that the Half Orc tribes have not expanded elsewhere in search of new knowledge and resources. These tribes of Half-Orcs are very isolated and independent from one another. Many share similar customs but only work cooperatively when the need arises. The Half Orc tribes tend to be very exclusive, preferring to keep Half-Orcs "pure" by living of their own means and not engaging with other races or geo-political events. This is not to say that Half-Orcs are standoffish to visitors or those co-existing on the land they make their home on as long as space is abundant. Many Half-Orc tribes are cordial to travelers and will trade for very specific and limited supplies from their neighbors. It is for these collectivist reasons that many Half-Orcs leave their tribes when they come of age to seek fame, glory, adventure, or wealth in the outside world. Many of these Half-Orcs excel in manual labor, combat, or religious roles in society. Half-Orcs that choose to leave their tribes retain their respect for those that are elder or competent and usually have no problems following the laws of their new communities. A weak leader or an unsuccessful transition to new cultures commonly drives Half-Orcs to crime and violence.
Half Orcs are lead by the tribe elders local to each tribe. The tribes Half-Orcs are born into are decentralized and vary in political values, if they have any to begin with.
A Half-Orc players place of origin is usually Krol'Zurahd, or Grand Soren
