Teifling

Teiflings are a mysterious race in Afarand. Not much is known about their lineage, even by their own people. It is rumored that their heritage traces back to the ancient demonic lands of Bez'Vulkaan. The Teiflings have no notable governance or organizations. They are virtually pure individualists that seek to find their way through the world alone. Some Teiflings will find groups of friends or comrades to travel, work, or adventure with, but many would be quick to assume that they are only being used for their own personal gain. Teiflings excel in latent magical abilities and as such are often sought after by clandestine or criminal organizations to be used as powerful agents.
A Teiflings heritage will always link back to Bez'Vulkan. Given the rare and transient nature of Teiflings in Afarand, their place of origin can be any one of the other races places of origin, granted they will likely be treated as outsiders by any culture.
