Just one year after Council of the Founding Witch Houses, with the full support of the seven ruling houses, the first Witchqueen of Morvathia is crowned—Brynhild Argentier.
Despite the unanimous agreement of all seven houses, House Argentier's ascension to the throne comes with a significant concession—to grant a high degree of autonomy to the seven counties, effectively reducing the authoritative power wielded by the Witchqueen. This compromise, while preserving the unity of the realm, also ensured that the ruling houses held a vital voice in the decision-making process.
