The Yakuza are the dominant faction of organized crime in most of White Crest. While there are other criminal organizations operating in the city, none hold the power or influence to challenge the Yaks directly.

The Yakuza organization in White Crest is called the Oni-Kai. The name Oni-Kai is derived from the Oni, a mythical Japanese demon. The Oni-Kai is known for its extreme violence and brutality, as well as its strict code of honor.
Like many Yakuza organizations, the Oni-Kai engages in a variety of criminal activities, including extortion, gambling, human, and drug trafficking. They also have a strong presence in the underground cybernetics market, providing illegal cybernetic implants and modifications to those who can afford them.
The Oni-Kai's activities are not limited to White Crest, and they have been known to operate in other cities and even internationally. Their reputation for violence and ruthlessness has made them a force to be reckoned with in the criminal underworld.

Territories

The Yaks control all of Chinatown and much of the surrounding areas. In addition they have a strong presence in the Uptown entertainment districts as well as the docks.
