Arcane Student
Xendar is a place known for its magic and arcane knowledge, among other things, so it's only natural for the region to have schools that focus on the subject. Each of these schools can vary in their curriculum and reputation, with the most renowned of them all being Dracomaior Academy. Regardless of which school one of these individuals went to (or to whom they apprenticed to), individuals who have spent their lives hard at work learning magic always come out having learnt at least some measure of magic.
