Components: V, S, M (a crushed button worth at least 1CP)
Duration: Instantaneous
As an action, you temporarily change the color of nonmagical cloth, leather, or any other inanimate object to a solid color of your choosing.
If you choose the color to have a simple pattern or different variations of color, it requires you to spend an additional 5-10 minutes (as per GMs discretion) to trace the design you wish on the item with your finger while picturing the colors you desire.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 2nd level slot, the color changed becomes permanent. If you cast this as a ritual, the time you take to cast it is tripled.
