Those living within the floating islands of the Wildlands away from the dangers below, are said to have an enlighted understanding of the air around them. Through their time floating in the sky enveloped with wild magic, they’ve developed an innate magical ability to manipulate things with air.
You have a +1 bonus to your Dexterity score. Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the Levitate spell with this trait without a material component. Once you cast the spell this way, you can’t do so again until you finish a Long Rest; however, you can cast the spell using any Spell Slots you have of the appropriate level. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your Spellcasting Ability for this spell when you cast it this way (choose when you select this background). Survival checks you make have a -5 penalty, and cannot benefit from Advantage.
