Wendigo Soul

An infamous monster that creeps the frigid nights, the Wendigo is a cannibalistic person turned monster. It stalks its harrowed prey, feeding off the victim’s hunger and weakness. A wendigo can be born in the Badlands through an act of aggression and cannibalism, which is most likely to occur during the Winter. When a family is plunged into starvation, and the parents turn to wendigos, the children very rarely survive the bloody ordeal. The few that do are forever changed, both body and soul.
