"Everything was Gray"

The world with no Color

In its infancy, Urnketh was Gray. There was almost no life there, only still skies, waters, and land, all Gray. And just one being, whose name was forgotten by time if it even ever had one. As she was the only one living on this barren land, she slept most of her days. Even though the Grayness around her was everything she knew, she longed for something more. Closeness, and warmth.   She started forming rocks into various shapes, pretending that they are like her. But as they were only rocks, there was nothing they could give her. That day, when she went to sleep, tears streamed down her face. One dark, one light. When they fell to the ground the world changed, but she didn't see the change as she fell asleep.

White and Black

Once she woke up, the whole world was different. There were places that blinded her eyes and those through which she couldn't see. Those two types of places didn't seem to like each other as there always was Gray separating them. When she tried to touch them, they became Gray again.
During one of her trips to the place where her statues stood, she noticed something. Some of her statues were moving. There was Black and White glowing from underneath the rocks that made their bodies. At first, she watched them from afar. They formed groups and walked around her land curiously.
She decided she wanted to join them, so she followed them, slowly getting closer and closer. Once she was within arm's reach, she placed her hand on one of them. At that moment, their body lost all of its glow and fell apart, turning back to stone. The others, seeing that, ran away in fear, spreading across the whole continent.   She went back to her lair, tears streaming down her face. As she fell asleep, one of the tears turned Red. The world changed again.

Red

When she woke up, a new Color showed itself on the world. There still wasn't too much of it, but it started to cover the ground with plants. New beings showed up. Most of them were feral and aggressive, attacking each other and her statue beings. But there were also ones who acted just like those statues. They formed groups and even tried to contact the statues. Some started to stick together with them, protecting each other from the feral monsters. The other started to fight. Their fights span over days, then months and years.   At some point, she decided to stop their fighting. She left her lair. Wherever she stepped, Red plants turned Gray and died. She ran between the two tribes that were about to start fighting again. But as they saw her and the destruction she brought with herself, they attacked her with their spears. They wounded her and so she ran away to her lair. Going back to sleep, Yellow and Green spilled from her body. And the world changed again.

Yellow and Green

This time, when she woke up, a lot changed. The plants covered the world. Two lights in the sky brought the warmness. The air was filled with sounds, a completely new sensation she never knew. And so the beings from before also changed. They now talked to each other and expressed themselves. And although they still fought, they also built cities in which they could safely live together. They dug the metals from the ground and just like she formed rock statues years ago, they formed new metal statues and gave them life. These beings were simpler than the ones she made, as they were mostly used for war.   She noticed, that in the places where a lot of them died, the land got so toxic, no other beings could enter it without dying. As she remembered that she could take away Colors with her presence, she went to clean those spills. When she did so, new beings came out of the spill. They were similar to the spill and very different from those she already knew. As she watched them, older beings came from their cities. They tried to talk to her but she didn't know the words they said. As she tried to mimic them, the sounds she made made them scream in panic.   She knew she wasn't welcome, so she went back to her lair. She cried again for a very long time. And her tears turned Blue. The world changed for the last time.

Blue

As she woke up again, the first thing she noticed was a Blue sky and waters. Being curious, she went to the coast. The waters moved and foamed. Apparently, before they got so Blue that they became toxic for all of the beings, a new kind of them came from beyond the continent. From the unknown lands.   She wanted to see those lands, but she didn't know how to swim. And no one was there to take her beyond the horizon, as everyone feared the trail of Gray she left behind. Again, beings started attacking her and so she had to run away to her lair. But this time, beings went after her. Once she entered the cave she lived in, they blocked the only exit with rocks. She was left alone in the darkness.   She went to sleep awaiting another time.
Related Locations
This myth has been mostly stricken out from any records, however, it describes both the order at which the Colors started to show up on Urnketh and the order in which all of the sapient races showed up here.   At first, when there were only traces of Colors, the Rockwings were born out of rocks.
Then, Beteclaws showed up and the two races began to cooperate (and fight eachother).
The two of them forged Smeltsparks and as their wars went on and the lands became oversaturated, the Huerustlers showed up not long after.
Finally, Humans came from beyond the sea, before it got too dangerous to cross it.

Who is "she"?

For hundreds of years, the few historians that heard this myth wondered who is "she" it constantly mentions. She would need to be a being older than Rockwings and able to survive in the completely Gray world. Some tried to find her lair, a cavern described in the myth.

Who is "She"? My theory is the patron goddess of the grays or some similar thing.

Interesting mythology, it would be nice to see how much of it is true. Is ‘She’ some sort of God of life and death, especially as in your world every colour has a positive and negative state, and she could create and destroy colour,

What a tragically sad story, I can't help but feel sorry for her. All she wanted was company, and all she received was fear and hatred from those who came from her. Great article!!
