Kis of Dis Session 3 report

General Summary

As the Circle approached the door to Kaer Whipvine , they noticed two more " Jungle T'skrang " standing guard. Pip was able to create a note using her Send Message spell that angered one of the t'skrang, causing a fight that eventually lead to one of the t'skrang taking down the other. Then it was an easy matter to dispatch the remaining guard. Once past those guard, they entered the kaer itself. They came to a common room with three ways out; one behind an iron door, one with no door and one that was impossible to go through due to a collapse. The group first checked out the area with no door, finding a kitchen with two troll slavers, a t'skrang slaver and an elf slavre. During the battle, Drax took a fatal blow from one of the trolls. Afterwards, they found a small room with a chest that was trapped. After opening the chest, they found some silver, a Booster Potion and a Last Chance Salve . The salve was used to bring Drax back from the brink of death. Turning their attention to the room behind the iron doors, they found beyond K'lrrt preparing to sacrifice Morkai to Dis. The sacrifice involved molten silver, which was being melted in a cauldron in front of the statue of Dis (Mad Passion) . K'lrrt had two guards, trained baboons with spears. Whisperprose started the final battle by shooting the cauldron, forcing it to tip over and spill all over K'lrrt, who survived but was wounded by the molten silver. Meanwhile, Drax (still near death, though functional) freed the ork scorcher from her cage just as the party stood victorious over K'lrrt and the two baboons, Mange and Leeta . Whisperprose desecrated the statue of Dis. Gathering up the molten silver and other loot, the band of heroes began to make their way to return the ork slave to her tribe.
