Mist Swamps

Near the southern edge of Barsaive, the Serpent's River slows and spreads into a swamp, which meets with the Death's Sea . The waters become shallow and are filled with vegetation and dangerous animals as well as an ever-present steam and swarms of insects. To say it is uncomfortable to most people is an understatement.
Despite the danger, rumors abound of a ruin that predates even the Theran Empire. Finding this is made even more difficult as the great dragon, Aban does not like intruders into her territory.
