Ishandris Dryeareplith
Druid of Iarglad Ishandris Dryeareplith
Ishandris, along with her sister Ahria, are Wood Elves born into the Dryeareplith family. Both siblings were highly goal oriented from a young age, with Isha being selected to continue her grandmothers Druidic line, while her sister took her mothers mantle of becoming an expert Hunter, tasked with apprehending and putting criminals of the Wood Elven society to justice. Their goals would shift by the time they reached early adulthood, as their entire race became plagued by a disease referred to as the 'Emerald Dream.' Many fell victim to the sickness, causing them to fall asleep, trapped in a nightmare for the rest of eternity. Desperate for a cure, many tribes sent their best warriors to search the world.
A great honor was bestowed on the Dryeareplith family, with Ahria being selected to go on the search. While deeply honored and proud of her sister, Isha could not stand by idly and watch her people slowly succumb to the plague. One night, under the cover of darkness, she gathered her essentials, and left her homeland in a desperate attempt to find a cure.
Ishandris now roams the world, knowing that returning without a cure would result in her being labeled a runaway criminal. While a cruel fate, she cannot help but fight through any hardship and pain she might encounter, as a crueler fate would be to return home, only to find nobody waiting for her.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Ishandris is on the skinnier side, with her body lacking any defined muscle mass. She would usually be slightly hunched over, grasping her weapon with both hands, when speaking and interacting with people, however, that is in stark contrast to her posture when she is caught in the midst of battle. With her chest puffed up, and her head held high, she charges in battle with the pride and ferocity her people are well known for.
Body Features
Ishandris spends each of her mornings diligently applying paint to her body. The meaning of the patterns she inscribes vary from day to day, though they would usually follow the same purpose of offering her worship to her goddess: The Pale Queen. Certain patterns would also serve the purpose of identifying her as a Druid to her fellow Wood Elves.
Underneath the paint, her body bears a few scars. Her stomach, both her hands, one of her shoulders and one of her legs, hold painful stories of her past.

Facial Features
Ishandris has soft features, along with an oblong face. Despite having spent most of her time undergoing harsh training, the young Druid has maintained the famed beauty Elves are known for.
Her eyes are a darker shade of green.
Along with painting her body, Ishandris also spends time in the mornings applying paint to her face. This ritual holds great significance in Wood Elven society, as it is used to communicate which tribe the Elf belongs to. In Ishandris' case, her tribe's pattern consists of two blue lines running from her forehead, through her eyes, down to the side of her lips.

Identifying Characteristics
Being Wood Elves, Ishandris and her people have retained some animalistic qualities that would aid them in the wilds. More noticeably, her mouth holds slightly elongated and sharpened upper canines.
Physical quirks
Ishandris is prone to baring her teeth at people who anger her, or when she is confronted with information she is uncomfortable with.
Special abilities
Being a Wood Elf, she has been trained from a young age to be keenly aware of her surroundings. With a silent step and a perked ear, she is capable of making any forest into her own personal hunting ground.
The young Druid can take the shape of any animal she has previously familiarized herself with. Along with that, she can also communicate with both animal and plant life.
One of Ishandris' primary goals is the mastery of all the elemental forces of nature. While her current knowledge is nothing to scoff at, she still considers the goal to be a long road ahead.

Apparel & Accessories
Ishandris wears a short sleeveless shirt, a cloak with a hood over it, leather pants and a long loincloth over them. She wears bark wood wrist guards on both her hands, which are held together by bandages that extend all the way to her elbows. Instead of shoes, she wears footwraps. Different parts of her body also have pieces of bark wood attached to them.
Ishandris, along with her tattered clothes, appears to always be either dusty or muddy.

Specialized Equipment
Ishandris possesses a number of items:
Pathfinder is a glaive Isha uses as her primary weapon. It was passed down to her by her mother, who in turn received it from her father. The name is symbolic, as it does not possess any magic, however, Isha remembers her mother telling her that in a time of need, the weapon would always carve its way forward. Whether that be through a foe's heart, or the world, is something she has yet to determine.
Lifegiver is a small staff given to Isha by her grandmother. It was crafted using branches from one of the oldest trees in all of Iarglad. Because of that, Isha will always be certain that whatever magic she channels through it, will always be blessed by her ancestors.
Ishandris also carries a worn out looking wooden shield on her back. She, along with her sister, found it abandoned while playing in the forest during their younger years. Being the children that they are, they took it upon themselves to see who could break it first. It turned out, the little shield was a lot sturdier than they anticipated. Neither of them could break it, even after including it in their practice fights during their later years. Both of them were convinced the shield was an unbreakable blessing from the ancestors. Little did they know that their mother would always retrieve it in secret after their sessions, and perform small repairs here and there. The shield remains unnamed to this day, as neither of the sisters could agree on a name. Isha wanted to call it 'Sturdy,' while Ahria insisted it being called 'Tough.'
Another item in her possession is a small flute. It was given to her by her other grandmother, who is famed across Iarglad with her ability to entrance anyone with her beautiful melodies. While Isha herself does not boast much of a musical talent, she still holds it dear, and is always ready to play it in an attempt to mimic her old lady.
