bunyip

Voracious seal-like cryptid native to the shores of Kortos and beyond. Smarter than they look, but what they look like can hardly be agreed upon by multiple accounts. Often only seen in quick splashes when engulfing prey on the water's surface, all witnesses to a bunyip seem to agree upon a mostly pinnipedal shape, but with wildly differing features: crocodile legs, bird beaks, human faces, snake tails, smooth scales, and shaggy fur are all described. The only thing that can truly be agreed upon is their voracious appetite.
