Havazhi of Kortos

Havazhi is the younger sister of Cara and is almost fifteen years old at the start of the Radiant Festival. She was born in the Cairnlands of the Isle of Kortos shortly before Cara's family emigrated to Absalom and settled down. It was recently discovered that she ran away from home and was, for a short time, living in Absalom by herself. Havazhi was always clearly obsessed with the mystique of the big city just on the other side of the big wall but had little opportunity to go before Cara began her training for Edgewatch.

Havazhi is precocious, similar to her big sister in many ways, and admires her greatly. She had an encounter with a harpy when she was young and, as a result, her parents tend to dote over her more than they do the more independent Cara. She previously had her blonde-red hair kept in a heavy mop of fine braids and dreads, more common in the Kellid lands far north that she's never known, and attempts to imitate Absalomian fashion with homemade or secondhand clothing, but lopped it all off, dyed it black, and styled it into a big mohawk like Fang or her eidolon, Lyphyore. She has since relaxed her hair and ponytails it back to mimic her big sister.

Havazhi can frequently be found hanging around the city, entertaining herself with summoner battles in the Radiant Festival's many parks, and bothering her friend/rival, Nitus Spiritskin.

Lyphyore

Havazhi discovered her ability to summon her eidolon, a harpy-like spirit named Lyphyore, quite inadvertently. She had a series of dreams she chronicled over the course of nearly a year and woke up one morning with the spirit appearing in a giant bird egg, set right in the middle of her room. Lyphyore "hatched" soon after in a cascade of crimson-colored light and Havazhi has been testing both her powers and her eidolon's through extensive trial and error.
