Imbuto appears as a pudgy, bald man with a wide, closed smile and beady eyes, standing little more than 2-feet tall. His clothing is a patchwork of clerical vestments and accumulated religious trinkets, he bares a wide-brimmed, flat hat, and his robes poorly covers his bare feet. He is attended by a number of smaller, cruddy creatures composed mostly of grave dirt, hair, and bits of bone that are often kept inside of his bag.

Imbuto has demonstrated cowardice in every combat he has been present for, assuredly confident that he would not survive were he to get involved. While tagging along with the heroes, he actively avoided getting involved with: the giant animated Prospecti statues, the skeletal champions, Xitelberak the roper (appeasing it with a paid trinket after everyone else was already through), and the two black pudding. He has, however, offered to stitch up new clothing for the heroes after the acid of the puddings damaged and destroyed much of their belongings.

Trust has eroded, Imbuto stole the party's holy symbols, traded them to Xitelberak, and was busy ransacking the ossuary of Frefferth's tomb when he was cornered and barricaded in one of the crypts to await arrest.
