Radiant Parade

Set to take place on Fireday, 26 Sarenith, the Radiant Parade is a boisterous affair of pageantry and creativity. The streets of the Precipice Quarter flood with parade floats of all sorts, each more outrageously decorated and elaborate than the one before it, and the entire city turns out in celebration. Magically-enhanced floats are highly encouraged and Absalom's religious freedoms and lack of self-censoring combine to produce some truly satirical, raucous, and borderline inappropriate displays. (The often anonymous float designers are not above mocking important world leaders and celebrities of all sorts!) The more grandiose and extravagant the float, the better for all!
Aside from the parade's march through the quarter and the many extra visitors to the Precipice Quarter that it brings, the attendees and performers alike are encouraged to decorate themselves in flamboyant and colorful costumes of all make and manner. It is said that in circumstances such as things, you never know who might be standing right in your midst, hiding in plain sight.
