Vudran peacockatrice

A larger and equally terrifying subspecies of cockatrice from the Vudran penninsula that resembles a mundane peacock. This similarity leads many to believe that the creation of these creatures is a cruel joke of the gods on humanity, rather than anything produced by nature. A Vudran peacockatrice hen (as there is no simple term for a "peahenatrice") is less territorial but no less dangerous than the males, although it is considerably less colorful, in faded browns and grays and lacking the decorative plumage of their namesake.
