AGGR Storm King's Thunder 0.1 Prelude

It is the year 1499 of Dale-Reckoning and the lands of the Forgotten Realms have been through some rough times in the preceding near century and a half. More specifically, the six decades beginning around and following the Night of Blue Fire were incredibly tumultuous. First came the wars amongst the gods and the punishment their patriarch leveled on them. The Overgod, Ao first cast his children down out of the heavens. Then he decided that only the destruction of the Tablets of Fate would serve as punishment for his wayward children and their followers. Unbeknownst to Ao, the undoing of the Tablets ushered in a new era of destruction to the Realms and their world, Toril. The Tablets had long since kept the physical fabric of Realmspace stitched together. The power of the tablets made it so that the parallel worlds of Aebir and Toril were kept apart. At bay from rejoining with catastrophic consequences. The undoing of the Tablets rendered the fabric and the two worlds once again entered into a collision course. This was sped-up by the events of the Night of Blue Fire and the subsequent Spellplague.
Only after many years did Ao realize the breadth and scope of the consequences of what he had done. The Overgod learned from his mistake and, to correct his error, he brought about a second Sundering. He cast a new Tablets of Fate to reestablish the order of the twin world. He then set his wayward children free to rejoin the heavenly planes above. A second round of wars between the gods followed as they scrambled to reestablish their previous statuses. However, these were short and after, they returned to their divine realms to re-form their churches. So too did the world of mortals began returning to its previous state.
In the seven decades since, many of the scars of the troubles before disappeared entirely. Still others healed over and became part of the landscape. The nations and peoples of the Realms struggled to return to normalcy; a very real and extensive fight. And, as the fight is waged, new threats arise.
