Amir al-Azad
Amir's Story
Amir has lived his entire life in basically the same part of the world of Azocar but he's traveled more than most. His family, the al-Azad have been the ranking clan in the eponymous tribe of nomadic horsemen. Their tribe inhabits an area of about 200 miles south and east of the Alzamarrid River between the
Spine of the Kings to the south and the Seas of Frost and Flame to the north. Though their area of influence is relatively small, Amir's people move around a lot and, as a result, he's used to traveling.
His father Alok is the elder of their tribe but he is still relatively young and vibrant. And his older brother,
Assad is their father's successor by birthright. So Amir's part in the family's duties is minimal. After the death of his mother birthing the twins, his sisters
Shaddara and
Sabellah, Amir and his younger brother
Ahlad were instrumental in helping raise the youngsters. But once the girls reached adolescence, this need decreased.
Thus it is with his father's blessing that Amir leaves the tribe to pursue his own path. He heads to Suzerain looking for a life of adventures.
Amir's Description and Mannerisms
He may not be the oldest but Amir is the tallest and most physically imposing of the al-Azad men. He stands in approach of six and a half feet in height and is powerfully built at 225 lbs. His brown eyes and dark brown hair are markers of his father, as is his tan skin.
Amir casts a fearsome visage and his fearlessness does not fall short of backing up his appearance. He never shies away from a fight and is so enthusiastic to rush into the fray, spear in hand that he often forgets that some of his abilities can harm those around him and they don't descriminate between friend or foe.
