The Amateur Thief

A young thief gets herself into trouble after running from the scene of the crime.

Introductions

• The solemn traveler - one foreigner winds his way through the city of Suzerain's streets and throngs of revelers after a day's meditation at a most holy place.
• Street revelries - another foreigner partakes in carousing and carrying on like they've never seen before.
• The Bright Mosque - an orphan and ward of the church is visited by her mentor.
• The intellectual - a visiting scholar is given an evening tour of that which they came to Suzerain to see.

The Young Thief

• The orphan girl, Sistinas spots an interloper on the grounds of the temple as she attempts to sneak out to "hit the streets".
• The young thief winds her way through Medinat Alzamarrid and, unbeknownst to her, picks up some curious parties.
• The girl makes a run for it once she realizes she's being chased.

Race to the Shadows

• The young thief is surrounded in a dark corner of the city after she makes a wrong turn.
• A second group of bandits attacks after the thief's rescuers agree to accompany her to her destination.
• The novice rogue is double-crossed by her contact when she meets him for an exchange of goods.

The Chase and the Dark

• The new comrades chase the bandits deeper into the slums as they try to and rescue their young employer.
• A final confrontation with the thugs ends unexpectedly but there is no reprieve as something foul rises up from the catacombs.
