Anenay

Amir Sava, known best by his stage name Anenay is a performing musician currently practicing in the capital of the Mallowhurst Empire, Kjarni. Born into rich nobility, Anenay spent much of his childhood getting into trouble in the outer wall parts of the city, only to be dismissed by the guards due to his parents' political prowess. Many onlookers report that he often would harass working class people stating that they are "average" and he is a "savage". Many people took offense to this, especially with the current socioeconomic status of the Empire. Lower class people have been portrayed as "uncivilized" or "savages" and, in their view, Anenay is mocking them. Upper class people retort that the word "Savage" is simply a play on his family name, Sava, and criticize the working class people for "always making things political" (Quote from an anonymous noble). Consequently, tensions around the subject are currently high.
Notably, Anenay has also recently become hard of hearing. Many performance attendees remark that he often says "wait, what'd you say?" or "wait, what?" when asked a question.
Most of the city dislikes his music, some going even so far as to show up and disrupt his shows. Somehow, though, he still remains a popular figure and draws crowds despite the negative attention.
