The Serenade of Snow

When a large blizzard hits regions of Agnesia, there is said to be a man who appears clouded by the fog of the snow. Should anyone approach him, they are met with a beautiful melody. It is said that this man's melody will calm even the most angry of people. All who continue closer to him do not remember anything that happens afterward, only that they awaken peacefully in their homes with nothing seemingly changed.
The man is known to sing the same melody each time, though witnesses have a difficult time remembering it as it is not in a known language. Over time scholars have compiled accounts and attempted to transcribe at least parts of the song, finding shocking commonalities in all witnesses around the continent.
