Personal history

Born in a small town in Fairmarsh to two heavily religious parents. Both parents studied and graduated from the University of Bulatania with the highest honors available. Professors and Magistrates at the University remark that his parents were:

His parents met and began to see each other while at the University. Once graduating, they were both invited to study under esteemed professors and take up a role as researchers for the University. However, they denied, stating that they had their own personal projects to see to.
They moved away to a small village across Fairmarsh from the University. There they lived as frugal hermits. Not often coming out, and not often taking in. They spent their time meditating, researching, and experimenting. Their goal was to find a Raoan artifact, to finally help Rao in ridding the world of the evil they see all around. This goal would soon be passed to their son, Yuhi.
When Yuhi's mother gave birth to him, Rao blessed his faithful servants with their wish. Their son was to be connected to Rao, a spiritual connection from the day of his birth. What Yuhi did not know and still does not know is the implication of this connection. Indeed, his parents kept that away from him for his childhood, thinking he would not be able to handle it.
Yuhi spent his childhood mostly alone, he did not go and play with the other kids of the village, he did not go to work when he grew into his teens. He studied heavily, and meditated heavily daily. Were his parents seen as successful, Yuhi was much more so. He excelled in most of his academic endeavors, never losing his passion for the subjects.
The only connection outside of his family was another family very close to his, though they lived a distance away and the two families would only meet up for special occasions. Within this family was a girl the same age as Yuhi, someone Yuhi considers to be his only true friend.
On the night of 2 Haust Origio, [idk what year man just pretend there's a number here], after finishing up his studies for the day, Yuhi had a strange feeling. Brushing it off as nothing, he went to sleep. His sleep was not peaceful. Rao, the god of calmness, the god of reason, was angry. Yuhi could not see what was happening, but the images he saw are forever burned into his memory. Thrashing, fire, screams of struggle and torment. Yuhi soon was shocked awake at a banging downstairs. Knowing something was happening, he went out to see what the noise was. Hooded figures, 12 of them surrounded his downstairs. They knocked down each door one by one, looking for something. Yuhi froze, knowing the next door was his parents room. Screams of terror and fighting followed by the crack of a flame. He ran, quickly into his room closing the door behind him. He grabbed what he knew he had: his backpack, his necklace, and notes of his studies, and jumped out his window as his house was engulfed in flames behind him.
