"The Twelve"

Worshipped most widely in those lands which have ties to the Empire of Dromden, the "New Gods" or "the Twelve" were turned to after the horrors of the Calamity, where the "Old Gods" of the Aetheric Tradition were widely thought to be, by many, to have somehow been responsible for the Calamity. Rather than cosmic deific beings that often represented elemental forces, the New Gods were understood as closer to the mortal races in many ways and altogether more "human(oid)" in their behaviours and mannerisms.
